Course Outline
Day One: Didactic
Implant history, diagnosis & treatment planning, anatomy, histology, bone physiology, pharmacology, osseointegration, technique, maintenance, risks, complications, failures, troubleshooting, management, practice development, and how to incorporate implants into your general practice.
Day Two: Hands-On Training
Practice placing implants on plastic models
Practice restoring the implants with:- O-ring abutments-attachments for overdentures
- Solid abutment for single implant
- Solid abutments for three-unit fixed bridge
