Dr. Robert Heller is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the Ohio State University
College of Dentistry (1988). He completed a Prosthetic residency at Medical College
of Virginia (1990) and a hospital based implant residency at Loma Linda University Dental
School (1997) He served as President of the Ohio Section of the American College of
Prosthodontics and Chairman for the Ohio Dental Association’s Subcouncil on Young
dentists. Dr. “Rob” is a teaching faculty member of the MII since 1995, and director of the prosthetic department. |

Dr. Alfred Heller limits his practice to the
placement of dental implants and bone
grafting procedures since 1969. He received
a DDS (1962) and MS (1974) from
The Ohio State University. He is a fellow of
the American Academy of Implant Dentistry
as well as Midw est Implant Institute, which
he founded in 1980. Dr Heller is board certified
in oral implantology and past president
of the ABOI. He is also on staff at Grady
Memorial Hospital. |

Vickie McCune started in dentistry in 1978, as a dental assistant. She has been teaching,
her true love, for 15 years. Anyone who has taken her courses remembers with fun and
laughter how to do ‘Sterile Protocol Technique’ and ‘Surgical Assisting’ for Implant Dentistry. She has been with Dr. Heller and traveled/ lectured with MII for 15 years.

This program is designed to teach SIMPLE implant surgery and SIMPLE implant restoration
through hands-on training. Midwest Implant Institute has been facilitating implant education for 29
years. Educating dentists and staff about implantology and providing the opportunity to place and
restore implants is a major step in providing patients with advanced technological break-throughs of contemporary dentistry. It is a prerequisite of the comprehensive IMPLANT EXTERN TRAINING PROGRAM.
