Course Objectives

  • Demonstrate soft tissue surgery for root coverage with lecture and video.
  • Understand the value and use of biological growth factors to enhance soft tissue outcomes and patient comfort.
  • Provide clinicians the skills and confidence needed to perform root coverage grafting as a routine part of their daily practice.

Speaker: Steve Wallace, DDS MHS

Dr. Wallace completed his DDS at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was a faculty member at U.N.C., and received his Masters Degree with Honors in Periodontics from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Wallace is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Periodontology. He has published original research on bone and soft tissue grafting and lectures at teaching institutions and national professional meetings.
