At the end of the course, participants will be able to sort through the jungle of commercially driven information to make an informed, unbiased decision on when and how to use each of the blood concentrate materials at various surgical sites.

James L. Rutkowski portrait James L. Rutkowski, DMD, PhD, received a BS degree from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 1972. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1976 and a PhD in Pharmacology from Duquesne University in 2008. Dr. Rutkowski is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Oral Implantology (JOI) and Past-President of the ABOI/ID. Dr. Rutkowski has a wealth of clinical experience in implant placement, esthetic surgery, bone and soft tissue grafting, and implant prosthetics. He lectures internationally on bone grafting, surgical anatomy for implant dentistry, pharmacology, and sedation techniques. Dr. Rutkowski has maintained a dental implant practice in Clarion, Pennsylvania for thirty-one years.
James W. Fennell portrait James W. Fennell, DDS, ra graduate of the Ohio State University School of Dentistry, completed a general practice residency at Womack Army Hospital and served as O fficer in Charge of the dental facility at Cook Barracks, G öppingen, Germany. A graduate of the Midwest Implant Institute, Dr. Fennell is an Associate Fellow of the AAID and a Diplomate of the ABOI/ID and practices general, implant and sedation dentistry in Cincinnati, OH, and has lectured with Dr. Rutkowski for 12 years.
